Many companies send out updates to their customers to keep them updated on the latest happenings. These updates are usually sent via email, social media, or text messages.
Some people feel that these updates are unnecessary and a nuisance, but they are actually important for you as a Dataflow client. They help you stay up-to-date with the latest on your applications which is why you keep getting these updates. Unfortunately, there is no way you can unsubscribe from these updates because it’s part of your authorization granted to the Dataflow Group.
So why does the Dataflow Group send out emails notifying you about your Application, especially for the fact that you had already provided the documents before:
- If there is any document provided that is deemed not to satisfy the minimum requirements
- If the documents are not clear enough either defaced or overcropped
- For the Nigerian clients that have just experienced the resolution of the disagreement (MOU signing) between the Dataflow Group and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, the cases are being restarted, hence the need for sending those updates
- With respect to (3) above, there is a new fee structure for the International Verification at the NMCN which is 66,875 naira as against the 53,500 naira that were earlier paid prior to the new agreement. So if you paid the latter, you will probably be asked to complete the fee to the new amount
- Requests for certain documents like your Birth Certificate, Documents for Marital status, etc
- Sometimes it could be due to a change in the case manager handling your application, hence you might be required to provide certain documents that you have hitherto supplied
So, there could several reasons why you are seeing this but the most important thing is for you to respond as appropriately and as quick as possible.
